Clerkenwell Design Week 2017Wednesday 31st May, 2017
Clerkenwell is home to more architects and creative businesses per square mile than any other place in the world, so it’s not an overstatement to call it London’s “creative heart”.
Its very own design festival, Clerkenwell Design Week, happens every year at the end of May, run by Media Ten, the same company behind the 100% Design show in September. Clerkenwell Design Week is now in its eight year, and it has established itself as one of the major design events in London and a must-go for architects, interior designers and creatives alike. For three glorious days, the festival turns the EC1 area into a plethora of installations, showroom events, cocktail parties and exhibitions. In line with the quirkiness of the area, the exhibition venues this year included churches, a former detention house, and countless installations spread around the little streets.
We welcomed hundreds of visitors to our stand in Project section, showcasing the new Framery Q Working with PAL and the new Framery range of colours. Project Hall hosted a number of other companies offering solutions for the open-plan office, including modular sofas and breakout furniture, so we felt quite at home there with our soundproof office booths and meeting pods offering quick escape to privacy.
